CMX23 NATO Crisis Management Exercise Final Planning Conference (CMX23 FPC)

Multinational Joint Warfare Centre hosted CMX23 FPC under the coordination of the Secretariat General of the National Security Council from 05-09 December 2022.
On behalf of Türkiye, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of National Defence, the General Secretariat of the NSC, Turkish General Staff, the Presidency of the National Intelligence Organization, the Presidency of Communications, the Information Technologies and Communications Authority attended the conference. Also representatives of 30 NATO member countries, personnel of NATO headquarters, representatives of Finland and Sweden and the ones from the countries subject to NATO’s Partnership Program with EU representatives (215 personnel) attended the conference.
CMX23 FPC welcomed Honorable Secretary General of the NSC, Governor Mr. Seyfullah HACIMÜFTÜOĞLU and NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary for Operations Ms. Burcu SAN on 05 December, 2022, at 08:45.
The opening speech of CMX23 was made by the Governor of the NSC, Mr. Seyfullah HACIMÜFTÜOĞLU at Atatürk Hall. Later, NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary for Operations Ms. Burcu SAN, NATO Head of Crisis Response Systems and Exercises Section Ms. Catherine GERTH and the Commander of MJWC Colonel Murat ÇAM made opening speeches. The opening ceremony was completed with the MJWC intro movie, The presentation of the administrative briefing and family photo.
After the ceremony, Secretary General of the NSC and accompanying delegation had an office call to COM MJWC. After the office call, the delegation was invited to a walk-through. During the tour, the delegation was greeted by the director of MARSEC COE on the first floor after the signing of the guest book and the photoshoot, the director of MARSEC COE was paid an office call . After the lunch given at the VİP dining hall, COM MJWC bid farewell to the Secretary General of the NSC, Governor Seyfullah HACIMÜFTÜOĞLU.
