
History
Atatürk War Gaming and Convention Center (AWCC) building was inaugurated and subordinated to the War Colleges Command in 2003 and launched its operations in the organization of staff of the Wargaming and Simulation Center (WSC) to serve the functions of conducting war games, supporting national and international exercises and providing venue for conferences, seminars, panels, ceremonies.
The Center was transformed into Joint Doctrine Development, Experimentation, and Training Center (JDDETC) Command on 1 August 2008.
In order to promote the visibility of Türkiye in NATO, JDDETC Command was restructured similar to the Joint Warfare Center (JWC/Norway) on 20 March 2015 and and started to operate under the name of Multinational Joint Warfare Center (MJWC) Command.
MJWC has been operating as a subordinate command of Turkish General Staff Training Department since 7 November 2016.
