NDU Vice Rectors and Institute Directors Visits MJWC 22 September 2026

1. Vice Rector of the National Defense University MGen. Cafer AKSOYTÜRK, Vice Rector RADM(UH) Mehmet Emre SEZENLER, Director of the Army War College MGen. Şener KOPAL, Director of the Joint War College BGen. Barış TERZİBAŞ, Director of the Air War College Air BGen. Baha PAKKAN and Acting Director of the Naval War College Capt. (N) Ahmet ÖZTÜRK visited MJWC between 10.30 to 13.00 on 22 September 2026. 2. The visit was conducted to introduce the capabilities and capacities of MJWC, evaluating matters related to the initial planning of the NDU Wargame 2027, exchanging views on literature research support to concept experimentation activites and identifying potential areas for future cooperation. 2. After signing the MJWC Visitors’ Book and taking a group photograph, an MJWC Command Briefing was delivered in the Executive Meeting Room. 3. MJWC Commander presented the following subjects during his briefing: a. The process towards MJWC assuming responsibility as the Officer Directing the Exercise in DAGGER series of exercises, infrastructure investments and the current status, b. MJWC capabilities and capacities, including CIS, MODSIM, facilities, software and real life support, c. Exercises in which MJWC have assumed the Officer Directing the Exercise, ç. events, d. 4. Exercises, wargames and other national, NATO and international Modernization works in the Atatürk Wargaming and Culture Centre. Following the MJWC Briefing, Col. Fuat GÜNER delivered a briefing on the organization and responsibilities of the Training and Exercise Branch, activities conducted, the EFES26 exercise planning process and the conduct and planning process of wargames. Additioanlly, Capt. (N) Güzide TIRNAVA ÖZKAYA delivered a briefing on concept and doctrine development activities and literature research support for concept experimentation activities. 5. Following the programme conducted in the Executive Meeting Room, a facility tour was conducted. The visit to MJWC concluded at 13.00.
