NATO Communicators Conference (NCC26) 07-10 September 2026

The NATO Communicators Conference (NCC26) which brings together civilian and military leaders, politician and comunication specialists from the NATO Commands and institutions, as well as the academic, industrial and media communities, and focuses on the implementation of the Cognitive Warfare Concept, was held under the auspices of the Ministry of National Defence, at MJWC on 07-10 September 2026, with the paricipation of 430 personnel, including communication specialists from all 32 NATO member countries, Ukraine and partner countries. On 9 September 2026, Chief of the Turkish General Staff General Selçuk BAYRAKTAROĞLU and SACEUR (Supreme Allied Commender Europe) General Alexus G. GRYNKEWICH attended the NATO Communicators’ Conference. SACEUR attended the plenary session at Atatürk Auditorium and delivered the opening speech from 08.30-10.00. Following the programme in the Auditorium, COM MJWC accompanied him in the walk-through introducing the facilities and the Center’s capabilities. Subsequently, the Chief of the General Staff, accompanied by the Rector of NDU, Prof. Dr. Erhan AFYONCU, met SACEUR at MJWC. Then they received MJWC, MARSEC COE and CTF-Black briefings respectively. After the bilateral meeting of the Chief of the General Staff and SACEUR, they left Multinational Joint Warfare Centre. Following the completion of the NCC26 on 10 September 2026, the Ministry of National Defence’s Weekly Press Briefing was held in MJWC.
