STEADFAST DAGGER 2027 (STDA 2027) Exercise Board Meeting (EBM) 1.1 02 - 03 Sep 2026

Steadfast Dagger 2027 (STDA 27) Exercise Board Meeting (EBM) 1.1 was conducted under the responsibility of Officer Scheduling the Exercise (OSE) - SHAPE (Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe) between 02-03 September 2026 at the Multinational Joint Warfare Centre (MJWC), İstanbul. Totally 28 represantatives from SHAPE, JFCNP (Joint Force Command – Naples), JWC (Joint Warfare Centre), NRDC-ITA (NATO Rapid Deployable Corps-ITA), USAFRICOM, LANDCOM, AIRCOM, MARCOM, SOFCOM, JSEC (Joint Support and Enabling Command), ESP SOCC (ESP Special Operations Component Command), NRDC-TUR (NATO Rapid Deployable Corps- TÜR) and MJWC particapted to this event. In accordance with the MJWC’S role in Steadfast Dagger series as a supporting Officer Directing the Exercise (ODE), two Officer of Primary Responsibility (OPR) attended the event on behalf of the MJWC. With this meeting, exercise planning process for STDA27 was initated and SHAPE’s Officer Scheduling the Exercise (OSE) Guidance was discussed among the exercise stakeholders. STDA 27 Exercise is at paramount importance for Türkiye, since this event will be a venue for certification for component commnads of NRDC-TÜR, which will assume Allied Reaction Forces (ARF) Headquarter role from the year of 2028.
