EFES 2026 EXERCISE MAIN PLANNING CONFERENCE

The EFES 2026 Exercise Main Planning Conferance was conducted between January 12-16, 2026, at the Aegean Army Comman, unde the coordination of the General Staff Operations Directoried. The aim of the EFES 2026 Exercise to train the Agean Army Headquarters and to conduct the Agean Army HQ and to plan and execute the implementation phase of Peace Support Operation in a comprehensive and hybrid warfare environment, within a generic region outside the countrys borders. On the first day of the meeting, the information regarding the general course of the exercise was provided to foreign participants; on the second day, a reconnaisance visit to was conducted the Doğanbey Firing Range and on the third day, a reconnaissance visit to was conducted the Naldöken, where the CPX/CAX phase will be executed. The exercise sydicate meetings continued their activities simultaneously. The activity concluded on the final day with presentations of the sydicates meeting minutes and a family photo. A total of 78 allied, partner and friendly nation personnel participated in the Main Planning Conference (USA 8, Albenia 2, Azerbaijan 4, Bangladesh 1, Belgium 1, Bosnia and Herzegovina 2, Spain 2, Italy 5, Qatar 4, Cameroon 3, Kyrgyzstan 2, Kuwait 2, North Macedonia 2, Hungary 2, Mongolia 3, Pakistan 3, Poland 1, Romania 3, Saudi Arabia 12, Tanzania 4, Zambia 1, Zimbabwe 5 and UAE 6). Additionaly, 161 personnel from the Ministry of Defence, General Staff, Force Commands and Public İnstitutions and organizations attanded.
